The 317-2 is a compact gas leak detector which checks ambient levels of methane and propane. The detector indicates gas level and an audible alarm warns users of increasing gas concentrations, ideal for use during installation and maintenance work on gas boilers.

• Sensor self-test following switch-on
• Audible signal confirms 317-2 is ready for use
• Increasing visual and audible alarm with rising gas concentration
• Continuous sound if alarm threshold is exceeded
• Measuring range 0 to 20,000 ppm CH4  and 0 to 10,000 C3H8
• Alarm thresholds of 10,000 ppm CH4  and 5,000 C3H8
• Lower response thresholds of 100 ppm CH4   and 50 C3H8
• Displays 8 segment bar graph trend display
